The concept behind this series is inspired by a thought experiment I observed. It begins by asking an individual to define "What" they are within a strict time limit of 10 seconds. The ambiguity of the question is intentional, encouraging spontaneous responses. Once the 10 seconds are up, the individual must pick one of their initial choices and explain why they selected it and what it signifies for them. They are then prompted to share a memorable experience related to that choice. The experiment wraps up by inviting them to reflect on their initial list—considering that the time constraint limited their responses—and to think about what other options they might have chosen their meanings and experiences associated with them.
From this experiment, here you will come to find my video breakdown series of each one of my self-identified identities. I have chosen to detail what each of these identities are, what they mean to me, and fond memories that I have with each.
