Immersed in my adventures to the farmers’ markers, I had a desire to add a tropical fruit to my collection. I wanted a tropical fruit, yet one that is not commonly converted to wine. This is where I came across one the most refreshing and delicious tasting fruits, the Pineapple. I immediately knew that this was the one and could almost imagine the taste.
I began to make my selections, knowing that it was vital to seek out pineapples that have a vibrant golden-yellow hue. This coloration often indicates a fruit that has ripened just enough to offer the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Another key factor to consider is the scent of the pineapple; a ripe pineapple will emit a sweet, inviting aroma from its base, which the wine would inherit. The size of the pineapples influenced my selection; larger pineapples will provide more fruit for fermentation, but the sweetness and ripeness were my target to define the quality of the wine.
Engaging with the farmers directly helped provide me valuable insight into the pineapple’s growing conditions and harvest time. This reassured me of my selections and helped me feel closer to the produce as I did with that, I had grown myself. Inquiring about the variety of pineapple was also enlightening, as the certain types would offer flavors and aromas that were more suited to my wine production.
With my selections made I was quite satisfied with my choice. I was excited to begin the winemaking journey, transforming these exotic fruits into a delightful and unique beverage one to expand my ever growing collection.

Find your passion, whatever it may be. Become it, and let it become you, and you will find great things happen FOR you, TO you and BECAUSE of you.
After starting my small garden, in the efforts finding inner peace, my passions inevitably grew to science of wine and winemaking is known as oenology. The excitement of researching and selecting the best fruits to turn into wine was therapeutic.
Whether the choice led me to planting and growing my own produce or adventuring to the local farmers to make my selection, the curation process was a fulfilling enjoyment.
I began my journey of vinification, by studying the different methods of production, preparation, and presentation. Familiarizing myself with these strategies allowed me to establish my own techniques for producing my first wine compilation.
Implementing my methods drew me further into the process. I was very meticulous with very to every detail in the process. My goal was to enhance the flavors of the ingredients I had chosen, while maintaining satisfying alcohol contents. With each stage I would make adjustments and calculations, in order to meet my desired expectations.
Upon the completion of the final stage, I took my last readings and began the labeling and bottling process. Designing the labels allowed me to channel my inner artist. Bottling and capping off each bottle gave me a certain level of pride for what I had accomplished. And now, I proudly present to you the finished product for your enjoyment, forevermore.
