A powerful dream has the potential to transform your perspective, steering you towards personal growth and self-improvement. When you wake up from a dream that resonates deeply with you, it can spark a desire to change and grow. This newfound clarity can motivate you to set goals and adopt healthier habits, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling life. Embracing the lessons can help you become the best version of yourself. This is what has continuously happened to me with a reoccurring dream that I wish to share with you.

We all had those special dreams that when we wake, we find that they have deeper meaning. We try to find the connection to our conscious lives. At times, we find some dreams even more prolific when they repeat themselves overtime with additional nuance. This is what I have experienced over the many years. One dream in particular that has helped shape my motivations and outlook on life. I dreamed that has repeated itself countless numbers of times, while holding deep significant meaning to me. I have analyzed this dream repeatedly and have found the deeper meaning within and would like to share it with you. As well as I am open to your interpretation as well. This dream we will call King of the Hill.

Picture this…
The dream starts as an opening cinematic. A black abyss fading to light gray, illuminating the scene off in the distance. You began to make out a structure or hilltop even in the distance. Within illuminated skyline in the background highlighting this hilltop.
As the same begins to slowly approach the hilltop, the basin begins to come into focus. There starts to come into view individuals making their way towards the hilltop. At first, there can be seen one, then two, then many, then hundreds. This crowd of individuals seem ominous yet unbothered with each other. All focused on their approach towards the hilltop. As the scene starts to focus on specific individuals, it becomes a parent that each one of these individuals in the crowd are all different variations of myself. This scene focuses on one individual. One who is saddened by something. I tearful visibly and sorrowful. Moving significantly slower than others, but definitely being held back by the burdens that he carries. The scene moves on to another. This time one enraged. Screaming obscenities, throwing a tantrum, and storming past others. The scene then focuses on yet another. This time one depicted as shy and coy. At every turn he scurry out of everyone’s way to keep to himself. Bracing himself and still slowly pushing forward.
The scene within pans out to visualize the immense crowd, all with different expressions, motivations, and postures of themselves. As the scene pans out to the crowd, the scene suddenly stopped its movement and focuses on the peak of the hilltop.
After a fleeting moment, I figure appears, walking forward a top of the hilltop. A bit obscured, unable to identify who this figure is. The scene moves closer. I can identify that it is me a version of me that is tailored, well dressed, unflawed, confident ensure of himself. He looks down as countless numbers of himself attempt to climb the hilltop to make it to his position. Off, struggling and failing. He looks amused, yet unfazed. Realizing that the others would not be able to attain his position, the same slowly zoom in on my face as I look into the proverbial camera with a smart grain of satisfaction. And the dream ends there…..

After many years of interpretation, here is what I concluded for the meaning of this dream. First, I start off in darkness, symbolizing a blank canvas. The visualization of the hilltop in the distance, I conclude as where I want to be and how far I have to get there. This can pertain to any goal or achievement for which I am striving. Seeing all the variations of myself represent any of my shortcomings, or things that I can do, or have done that have gotten in my own way, keeping me from progressing as one true towards their objectives. Meaning that at times you can get in your own way that can cloud your path to success. witnessing my selves, climbing the hilltop and fighting for position in my eyes, represent the struggles and strife that one has to go to in order to achieve the best position for that success. This is where the king of the hill comes into play. I interpret the final figure appearing at the top of the hilltop as king. Or better yet the best version of myself that has made it to his goal. Conquered all of his obstacles and challenges and emerged victorious. Proud of his achievements, he rebels in his victory, as well as assuring himself the best among them. Satisfied with his top position he’s also not unaware of the mini that desire of that top spot. And he is willing to work, and fight to sustain his position. And that lingering challenge brings joy and satisfaction.

Thus, one can apply this interpretation of this dream as a motivation for life. Do not let your fears get in the way of your progress. Do not allow your sadness and sorrow cripple you from moving forward. Allow yourself the time to experience the feelings that you have but still push forward. Do not allow your anger to cloud your judgment. Do not let your rage make you make hasty decisions. Strive to be the best version of yourself for what is needed in your vision. And once you have achieved your set accomplishments or goals, do not become complacent. Continue to strive to be better, maintain your position by being the best you. Do not fall from your hilltop and allow a lesser version of you to become king.
